The Cannibal Soul Classic Horror Series
These stories reimagine the vampire in terms of modern chemistry.
A chemistry experiment gone very wrong introduces two couples. First Vic and then Po are put into comas that leave them in phantom out-of-body states of being.
Po is a cop investigating a homicide. He meets Mandy, a waitress in a strip club, and finds out she has, on her body, in a rather private location, evidence against his suspect. The relationship between them goes from dubious to an unquenchable roaring flame of passion.
Vic, the killer, has been a lone wolf. Raised in the studio of an illustrator of illicit books, he’s all about lust but has no interest in love. But Colbi is a chemist who shares his bloodlust, and she might be the love he’s always needed.
Each couple consists of a phantom and a woman devoted to him, doing all the work to help them survive. All four are bound by dark needs. Substance abuse. The need to consume the souls of the corporeal.
The darkness that Mandy accepts as her fate sickens Po, but it also makes his life worth living. The same darkness that Colbi thrives on makes Vic want to kill her, but he knows he couldn’t live without her.
Each couple finds a family to rely on and who depend on them—for survival, for love, for guidance. Brother and sister prostitutes, a couple of cops, a drug dealer, the district attorney, and a sculptor face off against a senator’s son and his little posse and an old nurse driven mad by the suffering she’s witnessed. Battlelines are drawn, but nobody has the time for concepts like good vs. evil.
“a truly unsettling read”

“a bold experiment in genre-bending”

Incantation Child
The newlyweds thought it had been the quaint calm of the idyllic town of Mount Nord that inspired their love of it. Lance and Tami believed they were behaving rationally and of their own freewill when they suddenly had jobs at the school, a three-bedroom house, and a minivan.
Powerful supernatural beings are at work in Mount Nord. They’ve taken a special interest in the orphan girl named Keri. It’s no accident that she is Lance’s star student and already has his attention when he and Tami find out they can’t have kids of their own. Had they simply adopted her, things might have gone better for everyone in town.
But those powerful spirits and the ghosts of Keri’s murdered parents have other plans—plans to expose the seedy underbelly of the town, to mete out justice, to use Lance and Tami as tools to those ends.
A small-town supernatural horror suspense thriller with ghost possession, dark adult language and content, and occult references.

The Just Deserts Collection
Billy and Rusty are a pair of loner-losers hired by Kyle to build an addition onto his basement potter’s studio of a remote house. It seems odd to them that “The Kiln” has the proportions of a coffin, but what do they know about pottery?
Meanwhile, Ryan, another loser, insinuates himself into the crew’s next trip to the dogfights. That Kenny doesn’t load up his dogs should have warned Ryan off. People who can’t take a hint can end up as “Dogfood”.
And Cole moved out of the city to get away from the noxious odors of poor hygiene and worse manners, but now a strange scent pesters him. As neighbors die and mummify around him, Cole must defend his suburban home office against the attack of “The Scent”.
Sound like yummy desserts to you? Shucks, those’re only the appetizers.
These nine stories, carefully selected from scores of stories written over Tim Enoch’s twenty-year career, deliver Just Deserts. Some subtly, but some in the most painfully—horrifically—blatant ways.
A collection of horror novellas and short stories filled with ghosts, serial killers, the supernatural, the paranormal, and the diabolical.
